Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

My phone goes nuts every Sunday. Between the guys in my fantasy league calling every time someone on their team scores and the influx of Jets fans I have to deal with. They call me because I'm an impartial voice and I try to make them feel better when their beloved Jets lose.

I always get interupted during the games seems to never fail.
So I tend to turn the ringer on the phone to "off":p

The recent conversational topic leaves something to be desired.

Hahaha, there is a way to prevent this from happening...simply break off a few squares of tp and fold them over and place them in the target zone in the toilet and when your 'unak' dives in, it'll be like an olympic diver (no splash). Remember not to put the tp in until right before dropping it.

I use paper towels instead of toilet paper.

I was thinking my fellow Bronco fans would like these
As far as the water one I have nothing to back it up, nor any of the others. I just found all of them on a site and figured I'd provide you with some entertainment.

84 percent of American men eat an Oreo cookie intact; 41 percent of American women pull it apart and eat the creamy middle first.
Joke doesn't need to be said, does it?
80 percent of Americans eat their corn on the cob in circles rather than from side to side.
Really? I have never met anyone who does this. You' think by now I would have.
Women aged 21 to 34 are by far the group most likely to look behind the shower curtain when using someone else's bathroom.
why?
When shampooing their hair, most people (84%) pour the shampoo into their hand first, not onto their head.
Guilty as charged
Of all of the cola sold in the United States, 12 percent is consumed with or instead of breakfast.
That's just wrong. Do you know how bad this is for you or your kids?
Chances that an American lives within 50 mi of where he/she grew up: 1 in 2
So much for the 'upward and mobile" culture we supposedly have. GO SEE THE WORLD, PEOPLE!
Percentage of American men who say they would marry the same woman if they had it to do all over again: 80 . Percentage of American women who say they would marry the same man: 50
Percentage of men who say they are happier after their divorce or separation: 58 . Percentage of women who say they are happier: 85
Its always been my theory that women have much more specific and defined expectations out of a relationship than men. And they don't always verbalize them, and wonder why we seem clueless.

You are absolutely right. I was actually taking the angle that the 'same amount' of water weighs the same no matter what temperature. Density and weight aren't the same thing. In other words, if you take two equal amounts of water, heat one up and cool one down (assuming that the water is heated to sub-boiling temperatures, so none is lost to evaporation), they are still gonna weigh the same.
Conversely, if you take an exact volume of hot water, and the same exact volume of cold water, the cold water is going to 'weigh more' because there are more water molecules fitting into the same space.
Well I don't understand how amount can mean anything other than a measurement like volume. As far as the same amount of water weighing the same at any temperature I have to disagree. It seems it should but by doing the math it doesn't work out that way. You're right, density does not equal mass but it has an effect on it. Therefore, like I pointed out above 100mL of 100 degree C water DOES NOT weigh the same as 100mL of 1 degree C water.
