Just ignore her for a while, act like you don't care at all. One of my first "serious" girlfriends broke up with me and my friend(who had a lot more experience with chicks) told me to just act like I didn't care and she was trying to get back with me by the end of the week. Chicks are weird man, sometimes the more interested you act the more uninterested they act. I've been married for seven years and my wife still does things that make me.

Still dont know what I want to do as a profession. At least you have some kind of major in mind.
What exactly is this girl doing?

Also, sorry about the girls man, I though college girls would be more mature, or whatever... But in my experiences, they still suck. (no offense female posters)
I'm 20 and still without a serious relationship, but I'm content in who I am, and I've come to accept that I'm not dependent upon someone else in a relationship to tell me who I am. Sounds to me like your one of those hands on workers, who does a good job and hates doing busy work for school that you don't deem practical. I hear you, I'm a junior, and soooo ready to be done with papers and exams. Anyway, I read the whole thing, and I don't think your pessimistic at all, just bummed out slightly. Good news, Christmas Break is just around the corner!

You enjoy dealing with customers? Does the stress take away from school? I have a friend who might try to get me a job workin at a bar.
Hey if you don't mind me asking what do you do?a bunch of high school kids and rather immature adults.

As for the girl... Well, others give better advice than I do... but sometimes you have to go with your heart and what you feel is right. If you feel like you handled it right for you, who can say anything about it?

I was sleeping twice a day for a couple hours at a clip for 2 years. When I finally finished, I had NO CLUE what I wanted to do...never really thought about it.
10 years later, I look back and am thankful for going through the pain and helping develop my work habits.
Keep the faith str8, it will pay off man.
