So I found out awhile back I have a severe gluten intolerance, which basically means no more beer for Powderaddict

However, I found out I can drink most distilled liquors, as the distilling process removes the gluten from the liquor. Lately I've been trying different kinds of Scotch, and really enjoy it. So, I thought I'd share my favorites, and if there are any Scotch drinkers please share your favorites as well, I need to expand my horizons. I've found I really like the Single Malts the best.
My favorites so far:
The Balvenie 12 year double barrel. Great flavor, very smooth. I'd put in all the fancy descriptions if I knew them
.
Oban 14 year. So far, my favorite. Every drink is truly a treat, this bottle was a hit with everyone that tried it. I'll be buying another bottle soon I'm sure.
What I really like about these is that you can tell the distillers really take pride in their product. It doesn't taste mass produced for maximized profits, but rather like they care about the experience and final product above all.
So, your turn, what are your favorite Scotch Whiskys (or other preferences if you like)??
