Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

I agree with you, bad judges can take the fun out of anything.
Walking is pretty stupid, but badmiton has to be the dumbest. It was boring and stupid when I played it in a neighbor's yard as a kid, I can't imagine it as an Olympic sport.

I've never seen the race walking, but that sounds pretty bad. How do you do the commentating on something like that? "They're really walking out there......and they're still walking....here comes Paul Jones making his move....boy, he can really walk.....and they're still walking....."
This is the first Ive heard of the "walking" Im not surprised thou, I cant see Bob Costas saying something like "stay tuned the semi finals for the walk race up next"
I watched some sort of horse show that was part of the Olympic games. Not to take anything away from that but it something I would expect to see at a rodeo rather than during the Olympics.
well, i haven't seen the trampoline ("tramamopline, trambampaline!!!!!" - thats from a simpson's episode), but those things are a death trap so maybe they deserve a bit of credit. we used to have one when i was a kid, and the fact that someone didn't end up w/ a broken neck shocks me today.
the speed walking however deserves universal mocking. norm macdonald talked about this on SNL once; i believe he recommended that they recieve a stick as a reward (think walking stick) instead of a medal.
