Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.

well.. I know there is one poster on here that insists on using it after EVERY post.... He starts a million threads, and isn't well liked. That alone gives a bad name to the poor coffee dude.
Lol I was actually thinking about making a thread asking people what they use the coffee thing for.
Why people hate it, probably because its really interpretive, I can see it meaning either "Discuss" or "What do you think?" all the way to "Go *Bleep* yourself" or "Who cares" and anywhere in between.
I dont use it that often, but even for me, it takes different meanings in different situations.
Thats probably why people hate it, cause they have no idea, only the poster knows what it really means
it seems like it means "i dont care" or "not interested" in most occasions.
or "whatever".......
its only used as a negative emote....often used as a very sarcastic emote.... so there isn't a lot to like about it. I know I've used it simply to get under people's skin, simply because of what the emote represents.
I use the coffee emoticon because it's what you see me doing when you come out of your room and go into the kitchen when your mom is making me french toast in one of my T-shirts.
