Call me crazy but, some might say walking away would been a better way than walking into someones house.

ya I should'it of cracked opened the door... but I wanted to bust these guys so bad... and the fact they were being rude to me I decided to take this in my own hands

Here's the thing. .. you didn't "Bust" anyone. People have the right to be rude or completely ignore you if they WISH to. You see, its their home. I often don't answer my door when I don't want to answer the damn door. Its my right. Its my house. People knock, they ring the bell, I'm not interested in opening the door.... guess what, I DON'T! I don't care if they know I'm in the house or not. I don't want to open the door. That doesn't make me "12" by simply wishing to be left alone.

I would have kicked your ass for opening my door simply because you wanted to.

You didn't "Bust" them.. you simply proved just how rude you are

Well that's a tough one to answer. At one HS I was picked on b/c of the religion I follow...but it was only in one class...I didn't quite understand the concept of....go to HS principal and complain...stupid move on me leaving that school over that...b/c I LOVED that HS...
I transferred to a private HS after that....worst. move. ever.
I didn't enjoy it. Plus I had other issues going on in my life, so it made it worse. Plus when you go to a school heavily focused on academics and where you have to be the best it's tough. It also didn't help that everyone in my class were incredibly rude to people who weren't like them. And were heavy into the drug scene. I don't have respect for people like that.

I'm 21 now. College life is 100 times better.

Did you ever take a moment to think that maybe they just didn't walk to talk to you?
If someone from my old HS knocked on my door, I wouldn't answer it...b/c I hated at least 100 out of the 105 kids that were in my graduating class from my HS. If it was anyone else I would easily answer the door...I'd actually rather open the door and listen/talk to a salesman before opening the door to someone I went to HS w/.

Haha wow. This sounds like me. I hated just about everyone in my graduating class too except for a few (and some of those few i even hate now). I wasnt picked on (trust me. i think ive been called intimidating by just about everyone i know. i wasnt picked on). They were just all FREAKING MORONS!!!

But if someone from my high school knocked on my door id probably be really confused and would answer it out of sheer curiosity.

It’s been a while since I vented about my life but this story is just too sad to not talk about

So I come home from college, and I wanted to play some basketball. So I got the basketball and headed to the court up the street, all of a sudden I notice my friend from high school his home and I can tell because his car is in the driveway. So I walked up to the house rang the doorbell and knocked, then I saw a person then he disappeared. I thought that was odd, but I figured he was doing something else and could not get the door. So I rang and knocked again waited a few more seconds then I saw a head appear then went away. So now I was like "what the duck"? Then I knew what was going on. So since I had a phone I tried too find his number to call him and say "yyyyaaaaaaa this is not going to work with me", but I could not find it. So I said, “screw it” then started to walk away, but then I thought why not have some fun with this. So I went back rang and knocked the third and final time, nothing so I opened the door (I noticed it was unlocked a while ago gezz I did not break and enter) and gave a gentle "Hello? Anybody here? (Duh)" Then I hear "WHAT PART OF LEAVE US ALONE DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND?" (I was like whoa what’s up your bum bum) then is brother appeared "I was just wondering if Ryan was home and would like to play some basketball?" "Ryan is not here he is at school (o rely! Why is his car in the driveway)" "ok see ya later". Then I left and I could not believe how incredibly stupid that was. How hard is it to answer the door? Instead they act like 12 year olds and don't answer, then he is too wussy to answer the door so he sends his brother to finally say something. Not to mention his brother is a college drop out so he is prob not the most people person in the world. Anyway this saddens me because it seems like they never were taught about manners from their parents, which is no shock to me in this town. Not to mention he and his brother needs some sun, because let me tell you when I saw his brother I was like "dude are you scared of the outdoors or something?". So ya their is my rant and here is a question to you all.

Would you ever do that? Or let your kids do that?

If people don't want to talk to you, just accept it, don't be an ass.

So.. this one time when I was in like 2nd grade it was a sunday and I went to my friends house 'cause I thought they were home from church. I mean, their fmaily Suburban was in the driveway and everything, so they obviously were home, right? Well, anyways.... so I ran up to the door and knocked and John answered it. I asked him- "Can you come out and play?" He said- "No. It's sunday, I can't come out and play." So I asked- "Can Doug come out and play?" John said- "No. He can't either." SO I left all dejected and stuff. Then an hour or so later they wer elike in the back yard playing, I HEARD them! So I ran over and knocked on the door and DOug answered, so I asked- "Can you come out and play?" He said- "No. It's sunday. We can't come out and play." I was so dejected and stuff. So when I heard them laughing and stuff I jumped the fence to see what they were doing and OMG they were playing!!!! It made me so mad that I jumped the fence again and did not play with them that day at all!!

True story.... well... kinda.... okay, it's not.

Dood! I do that all the time. I'll make it apoint to make sure hwoever it is that is at the door knows I am home and that I just walked away from the door without answering. It's kinda fun when it's the (insert religious generic that fits whatever is not in line with my beliefs but we'll keep that to ourselvs since it's not "legal" here).
