While I both agree and disagree with many posts in this thread I have to lean towards champ on this one. Jay really needs to learn how to manage the game better, and also to learn that you don't have to go for the big play EVERY time on every drive. There is something to be said to check the ball down and live to fight another day. -Great Post Cut the Excuses out please. sigh...

    Helll of a post

I was the only one in my family who could out eat my grandpa on Christmas Eve, Thanksgiving, Easter, 4th of July.

and I'm not a big fella either, but I can pack some food away.

I have literally been asked to leave from Old Country Buffet on 2 different occassions.

    the funny side to all this? I'm only 5' 11", 175#, back then I was 5' 6", 120#.

I can still eat like it's yesterdays news, but my metabolism is so high, I just don't gain weight all that much.

He had to have meant OUT-eat his Grandpa, or eat more than him.

        I hope, anyway.

I can do that on a regular basis. No wonder I'm 285 pounds.

        I don't look fat, though, because I'm 6'5"

            Yesterday's intake

            3 eggs
            Large serving of hash browns
            protein shake
            Piece of london broil
            Some mashed potatoes
            Serving of green beans
            Protein bar
2 chicken burrito things (some beans, 2 chicken breasts, cheeese, green peppers, jalapenos)
Random grabbing of Gold Fish cracker snacks.

A fairly normal intake. Im normally in the gym for about an hour and a half -two hours a day. Thats the only reason why I dont balloon up again to be huge.

I think Ben Tate will be the best back taken in the 2010 draft. (5/3/10)

I bet I can eat more than all of you. Or at least pretty dang close.

I have two younger brothers...18 and 13 and you can imagine how much they eat and I keep up with them pretty easily.

A couple weeks ago we ordered pizza and I had about four slices because I was pretty hungry...my brothers had at least that. Plus we had salad. And we had ordered two of those cinnamon dessert things. They are like 10 inches around I guess plus about 2 and 1/2 inches thick...covered with like cinnamon and butter and stuff. My brother told me there was no way I could eat one by myself right then and there.

No problemo little bro. The looks on their faces was hilarious when I finished it without pain.

Now I don't eat like that ALL the time...but I can eat like there's no tomorrow if I want to. lol
              ...capture it...remember it...

I can eat a lot of food as long as it's not a filler food like potatoes and stuff like that.

The thing I could eat a lot of though is steak.

                    Mmmm.

6'3, 160lbs and I can easily put away 4500 calories in a day if I want to. I play a lot of sport and there are definitely some pretty strong thin genes in my family (my grandfather on my mum's side was much the same - and considering that my dad's side are short and stocky, I'm pretty sure I've got his ).

If I'm cooking, I'm terrible at cooking for one because I'll usually make enough for two and scoff the lot, especially with pasta. I've done some great things in the past such as eating 50 sticks of satay in a sitting. It's worse in winter/spring because it's cold and I play two sports.

I guess the downside is that 160-165lbs seems to be my ceiling right now. It means that I'm very light for my positions in my respective sports (rugby and football - I've started playing a fair bit of TE) so I can struggle against bigger opponents. But on the other hand I'd much rather be thin rather than balloon when I'm older. My friends and I joke about me coming back to a reunion dinner in 20 years and looking something like Monsieur Creosote from Monty Python's Meaning of Life. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y2Bs1ZZ-7b8). My digestion's ridiculously quick - about 12-14 hours so I guess I'll be like this until it slows down. If it ever does.
