A Strip Club??? A STRIP CLUB!!?!!?!?

Everything this morning was going fine until one of my friends texts me going, "Yeah were going to a strip club for my 18th birthday you're coming right?"

Honestly out of all the places you could go to it has to be a strip club......

Yeah I'm sorry for my rant but honestly I don't know if I should go and this isn't something like Joro's thread where he's asking if he should follow his dreams and stuff this is just my friends coming up with another stupid idea to go see naked ladies, who might I add are probably .

So should I go or should I say hell no this place is demeaning to women! Ok, I won't really say that but thats still sort of how I feel.

I think you should go. You are young, single(I presume), and you only live once. I have never understood the "demeaning to women" argument because these women who strip choose to do so. I have seen many strippers in my time, and I still have a very healthy appreciation and love for women. These women also make good money, and I know it sounds "cliche" but a lot of these women are college students, so think of it like you are sponsoring the doctors and lawyers of tomorrow.

I think we get too caught up and have too much of a puritan view of sex in this country. I was about to go into a rant, but I don't want to hijack so I will save it for P&R.

I will say this though, if your heart is truly telling you it is wrong or demeaning, then don't go. You know best your opinion and what you think is right and wrong, and you should go by what your gut is telling you.

Hmm the way you put makes sense but the guilt of it is what would kill me if I did go.

Seeing my family would rip me into shreds if I did go scares me too, seeing that almost everything I do some how ends up getting to them in ways I have no clue. :hammer:

Having said that, I would go to the club. As chaze said, for the most part these girls make good money, and normally are college age students trying to earn some extra cash.
