I'm brand new at any form of message board, so I need feedback from experienced users before I do something that's against the rules. Can I put information on here about a die-hard Broncos loyalist who's been injured in Irag and needs encouragement?

Couple of the biggest problems on here with new posters is that they don't realize there is a search feature to look up a thread that has been already started. Very helpful in finding a thread on a peticular subject.
Another one would be asking yourself before posting a thread: "Does it belong in the General Discussion Forum?" Many posters like to start threads about Free Agency and Drafts or even start a smack thread when there is forums for each.
So hope this helps but you really should check out the Newb Forum alot of info from more Informed posters than myself. I did and it helped tremendously. And you will also see threads there of other Newbs introducing themselves which could also act as a way to meet new posters in the same boat. Kinda like a graduating class so to speak! Welcome to Broncos Country and Happy posting!

Go ahead and post it. You won't get in trouble. You should probably post it in the anything but football forum, but if you post it in general discussion the worst that will happen is it would be moved.
Enjoy your time here, it is a very cool place.

Okay. If this needs to be moved to another forum, I'm fine with that. My nephew, 34-year old Army Sgt. Danny Miller loves the Broncos, second only to his country. Been stationed in KY, TX, KS, and Alaska--always found ways to follow the Broncs. Volunteered for Irag tour--volunteered for patrol on 2/18/09. Vehicle was blown up by IED and lost both legs below knee, broken femur and fractured hip. Currently in hospital in Germany. Has wife and 7 year-old girl. I'm looking for ways to get him encouragement to face the challenges he's going to encounter. The Bronco Nation seems the logical folks to turn to. There is a website with his story, condition updates, pictures (you'll note that if he's not in Army Camo, he's wearing something Bronco!) and a guest book for messages. Go to www.caringbridge.org, internal website name is 'dannymiller'.
Hope you'll all help me get the message out. He'll have access to reading messages as soon as he gets to San Antonio this weekend. Thanks for letting me post.

Respect
I'm a huge UK Bronco fan and I have a huge admiration for the US and its military.
Having served in the British forces with Her Majesty's Royal Marine Commandos, (Green Beret with the SBS (Special Boat Service)) I met and spent a lot of time around American forces and special forces soldiers. My fellow UK forces buddies used to think it was weird when I would throw the football around with the American guys instead of kicking a soccer ball around, but football is my favourite sport. LOL, come to think about it the American guys couldn't get over how much of a fan of American football I was. It was always a shock to them to see me wearing a Broncos Jersey or hoody during my down time. :cutler:
Respect to your buddy, respect to the US. I wish him well and send him my thoughts and prayers all the way from England. GO BRONCOS =.
P.S
I would rather the UK was the 51st state of the US than a part of Europe.
PRO AMERICAN UK BASED BRONCO FAN FOR LIFE.GO BRONCOS
