        It was short, but nice.

        My apricot and some trees the birds "planted" are in bloom. It's still February. Daffodils are almost open, beating the crocus this year. I heard we're suppose to have a mild summer, but it's not looking like it so far.

            and I always think we have a big fluctuation in weather when we go from 80 to 60 ... not so much I guess....

              • It's March. Trees are flowering. Daffodils have been out for a week or so.

                And it's sleeting here and a major storm going up the east coast.

                And when did they start naming snow storms?

                  82 degrees, sunny, with a cool breeze... so.... my sympathies

                  I wondered about the storm naming too. When our storms were pounding us a handful of weeks ago, they were named too. One was actually named Lucifer...

                  Maybe they've always named them but it was never really reported

                    This was Storm Stella. With hurricanes, don't they start at the beginning of the alphabet? This has been a mild winter for us. Maybe it carried over from last year.
