      Tonight
      Rain, snow, and freezing rain likely before 1am, then snow and sleet likely between 1am and 3am, then snow likely after 3am. Patchy blowing snow after midnight. Cloudy, with a low around 10. Wind chill values between -3 and 7. Northeast wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. Total nighttime ice accumulation of less than a 0.1 of an inch possible. Total nighttime snow and sleet accumulation of around 2 inches.

      Sunday
      A 20 percent chance of snow before noon. Patchy blowing snow between 10am and 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 16. Wind chill values between -9 and 1. North northeast wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

      Sunday Night

        So far they got this forecast right.... I would not of minded had they got it completely wrong. Man it's cold!

            • Please....no more precipitation in the Red River Valley! Folks to the south are predicting flooding this spring. The Red River flows from the US through our fair city, and northward. When the US side floods, we usually flood as well, though we are fortunate to have an amazing "Floodway" to help soften the blow. At least, for the city. One of the smartest projects we ever designed/completed!

                  • No offense Saddle but texas doesnt have winters. Of course im biased as im around 8000 feet up. Right now now we have blowing snow at 40 to 55 mph. Rained all night and temps dropped out this morning. Visibility is abput 40 feet

                        They are describing this in "weather bomb" terms. It reaches from southern Canada to the deep south. Ugly stuff. Although my locale is not going to get hit too hard (so far as we know) compared to other parts of my province and of course, southward, it is going to dump a lot more precipitation into the Red River....hence, more flood danger. But this storm is packing big winds, and all kinds of trouble!!!
