    Mmm, grits.

It's still coming down. I wouldn't have minded if the weather people were wrong just this once.

How come the smilie box is different? What changed? Just the order?

You make me sad.........(here in the cold, forlorn prairies, where the bitter cold bites, and the howling winds.........well they basically howl, you could say)

        • Last I heard, we've gotten 26.5". We need about two more inches to break the record. It's still coming down, so we better break it.

                What's that?

It appears to be snowing on the east coast.

                • Looks like our Christmas blizzard we had here, but your snow is that heavy, wet stuff which sucks to shovel. Have fun shoveling!

We're getting light dry snow and temp of 27!!

You can borrow my snow thrower if you want. It's all fueled up, just stop by and pick it up.

Not too much consolation, but another Colorado low (again!!!) will hit is with a dump of snow today and tomorrow with high winds on SB Sunday, which is creating a winter warning......but we won't match your snowfall, you Nut you!

That comes tomorrow (for me). Hubby was out several times today. I made Japanese curry rice, so it's okay.

Yeah. Don't have to shovel rain.

We got 29" in 24 hours.

We live at the bottom of a slight hill. It's fun watching cars try to make it up that little hill.

Today, a driver pulled over for the plow to go by...45 minutes later, he's still trying to get out of the snow drift. Neighbors tried to dig him out. He would gun it, spin tires, dig himself in farther....someone finally towed him out when he blocked the road.

Is that an all time record? As long as you are okay (and it is in fact a record), nothing like a personal best.....something to tell the grandkids about.

Get a shovelful, toss it and half of it sticks to the shovel?

                                Day three of the dig-out.

Snow fall in that time frame, yes. They're still calculating the overall numbers. The airport is the official site. Town next to us got 31.5". We got 29". The airport is in between. Right now, they say they had 26.5" at 11am Saturday, 24" at 8pm Saturday. I say, give us 30" and call it a record.

                                We ventured out today.

Lots of downed trees. Snapped in two.
