Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

100% in the City and Country of Denver here. I can see the stadium from the roof of my building (amongst other things) takes me 5 minutes to hop downtown. :go::go:
but you're location says you are in a little dog you're not a backyard predator are you?j/k
I'm of the mind we have more out of town fans on the boards than in town fans.
Here's a poll to examine my theory!
It makes sense that more fans on the board live out of the area. We feel disconnected, so the board is a way of reconnecting. Some of us live in other fanbased areas. Case in point, I live in Va. Beach VA - very heavily the Redskins fan base, closely followed by the Cowboys and Steelers. Then of course are the New Yorkers around.... UUUUgggghhhh!!!! It is torturous.
I am however a Denver Native, born and raised, graduate of Thomas Jefferson and Barnes Business College. I grew up in Park Hill 1/2 block from the now I am sure re-built Dahlia Shopping Center (35th and Eudora). I had a Broncos helmet as a kid and so did one of my older brothers. We passed them on to two of our nephews (24 nephs/neices)... One of which is Andre Woolfolk, also graduate of TJ and OU Sooners and 4 years with the Titans... He was the high school teammate of Daniel Graham just to bring it full circle.... Anyway, despite Andre's Titans years, I remained a loyal Broncos fan and had grown to like the Titans (now I despise them)... I have in my closet a custom made 1/2 Broncos/ 1/2 Titans jersey, with the number 24 on the front and 26 on the back... The name says BailFolk... for Bailey/Woolfolk... I wore it to The Titans/Broncos preseason game at Invesco in 2007. A big part of our family was in the stands... Andre autographed the jersey after the game.. I have the footage somewhere on a mini dv tape.... gotta find it. These stories keep the far away fans connected... This board keeps us connected, since we have boldly gone where many other Broncos fans have never gone before... Away....

I hate the Chargers and I have for the past few years. My friends that are Broncos fans that live here in Denver had no idea why I hated them because they are never on these boards. They would be like "Why do you hate the Chargers so much? They have never won anything." They all still hate the Raiders more....
Thats when I realized that my hatered for the Chargers comes from these boards and the fans here.
