After a 7 year relationship my girlfriend just broke up with me yesterday. She said she wouldn't have the same feelings for me anymore and actually there's another dude involved. I've spent a night of crying and drinking and I'm desperate. Actually we were thinking about getting married and stuff... suddenly, all is gone...
I was always joking with my friends, saying: "The day Sarah leaves me, I'm going to Denver and watch a Broncos game". I never thought that this would happen, I never believed that it actually could happen, but now I'm sitting here, asking questions to myself.

So, let's get it straight: I'm seriously thinking about catching a flight on 11/13 or 11/19 to come to Denver. My grandparents live in Colorado Springs, but my grandma has serious liver-cancer and I can't stay there. So, I'm asking you - Broncos Country - is there anybody out there, willing to give a lovesick german dude a stay and to take him to the game against the Dolts?
I don't have much money, I'm just a student, going to College. There's not much I can offer you. And I know it's kinda rude to ask in that way like "Can I stay here?" instead of saying "I'm coming to Denver. Do you know a place where I can stay?" but that's the way it is: I don't have money for an appartment or a hotel.

Maybe it's just stupid to come up with such a thread, but I thought I might give it a try.

hey brother sorry to hear about that ive been there before.... motel 6 man its like 35 or something a night you could just fly here and stay like 2 nights or something im sure it wouldnt be that much...just a thought yeah just do a google search on hotels or motels

Where are you coming from? Assuming you are in the states, it might actually be cheaper to rent a car or catch a bus and then you might have enough coin to rent a hotel room. Too bad it's not like in Germany where you can just ride a train anywhere in a hurry for cheap.
