Find Me That Pizza-Maker

We order pizza from the same "Little Caesars" quite often. It's not the best tasting pizza in the world, but it's close and reasonable. But every once in a while, it is outstanding. For some reason, the same order tastes better.

For now on, when I get one of those winners, I'm going to phone them and ask who made it. I will then ask for that person every time. Not sure you can ask for a specific pizza dude, but what the heck. Worth a try.

Or maybe the folks get an urge to do better work.....maybe add more toppings......maybe show some real pizza passion. I don't know.

When I was a teen (around the time of Christopher Columbus), I just missed out on a perfect pizza situation. We used to order from a place occasionally, and then a friend of mine was hired there. He told me if he ever saw our name come up, he would turn our pizza into the best pizza ever made. He was going to load up on the cheese and toppings, and all for the same price. Trouble is, he moved on from there quickly...........maybe he was rewarding all his family and friends.

There is a mom and pop place by where I live that makes the best white pizza (spinach, chicken, tomato slices, ricotta cheese, and mozzarella, no red sauce). It's to die for.

For some reason the dominos pizza looks special on their new commercials. Is it possible for anyone to hate pizza?

I'll tell you right now Can, that they probably have at least 2 cooks working, pumping out orders at the same time.

Unless you order something that stands out, you'll probably never know.

All I can say is that the guy who makes it, probably doesn't use the company specs (they have cups for the cheese, and meat and the pepperoni is counted out) and uses too many ingredients.

I've worked at 3 different pizza places, and I can tell you right now, the most delicious pizzas in the world never leave the pizzeria doors, or even make it out of the kitchen. :thumb:

We order our pizza online instead of calling it in. Hubby noticed that on the website (Dominos), it tells you the name of the person making it, when it goes into the oven and then the name of the person delivering it. Kind of cool.

We just tried it the other night. Really good. Garlic on the crust is a nice touch.

We are blessed with tons of pizza joints up here.......and we have most of the common chain types that you have.

But it's the old story, sometimes you have to go to the little business shops for the finest of product. Somewhere there's the perfect little spot, maybe in a small local restaurant deep in the middle of a dream place called Tuscany, where the authenticity of the food and the experience blend magically with a fine bottle of wine.....as you watch a lazy sunset on the perfect of days.

Hey Peanut........hope they don't do like the call centres where people use fictitious names. If so, I'll bet you'll see a whole bunch of Marios, Joes and Tonys......

Nawwwww...they wouldn't do that.

But I like the concept. Keeps them honest and "care"ful.

(this is so appropriate because we eat pizza almost every Friday........just had some of the leftovers.......mmmmmmmm)
