Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Officials: Passenger tried to ignite shoe on United Airlines flight to Denver
I get my lighter past security all the time. It's rather easy.
It's also rather ridiculous that they have smoking areas in some airports past the security check point. If everyone was denied lighters and matches, how on earth is everyone smoking in these areas?
When I heard this story this morning, I was a tad upset about the guy smoking in the plane bathroom but no charges are going to be filed. If it were you or me, we would have been hauled off to jail.
Buy them from one of the shops. They took my water in Oakland (forgot it was there). Went to buy another one. $4.00?
I would think that when it comes to things like homeland security, it would void diplomatic immunity.

I use to fly a red eye from SFO to IAD every week for about a year and 8 months. When I boarded the flight I liked to pop a melatonin to help me sleep. Instead of buying a water at the airport every week, I just took a water bottle and filled it at a water fountain after I got through security

Keep in mind though that this isn't our security that got bypassed.
However, Qatar doesn't screen passengers to the same standard we do, and thus the risk is for those aboard flights from other countries to the U.S. But other than having security officers on the planes for US bound airways, we can't control the security situations in other countries.
It goes without saying that we are still safe.

Think of a bigger, stronger, more handsome Eli Manning.... That's Fargo.
So, I (supposedly) found out why the plane landed at 7 but we didn't hear anything until 11:30. Apparently, when the plane landed, they basically quarantined everyone. Everyone was escorted off the plane, no bags, no cell phones, and were taken to a seperate section of the airport. Supposedly they were not allowed to leave untill 11ish.
This is all from a fellow traveler, so I dont know how accurate this is, but it makes sense.
