She was getting on in age
But that didn't make her passing any easier
Because one's loss is never known
Until the moment it happens (and the days beyond)
Yes it is a blessing....as those last years
Were lacking in the quality she deserved
And all that mattered centered around her comfort
In those finals weeks..... and days
When it's not clear if one is still here
Or halfway to that better place
The new, perfect home where she and her man become one again
They, the "inseparable" ones
But she will be missed
For what she was
And what she did
And because she's a "Mom"
........the finest of Moms
No more tough days for her
No more discomfort
Just a heavenly place
Where the good people go
Yes, we are happy now
Very happy for her
And thankful for the memories
And the rich life we shared
But make no mistake
We would dearly love to have one more day with her...........
