Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

I've been looking on and off for the last year. And if I can land a good high paying job, CO is my first choice. I was wondering where would be the best place? I like the mountains and the small towns n such, I dont wanna live in the City. I was looking at a few places in Westminster and it seems like a pretty nice place. I'm also a Wildland firefighter. Any thoughts? Sorry if this post is in the wrong place.
Visit the Jarvis Moss thread we have going... I'm sure you will pack your bags as soon as you see all the pictures we listed. I have lived here for the past 7 years, and i couldn't love it more.
This thread will probably get moved to the 'anything but football' section, but that's ok.
What do you like to do? What are you looking for in a town? How far away do you want to be away from Denver?
Westminister is a nice place to live, and it's only about 30 minutes from Denver. I live in Lakewood and definitely like it a lot because it's close to DT Denver, but it's not really in the city.
If you like to snowboard/Ski, a mountain town might be better for you, but it's tougher to find a good paying job there depending on what it is you do.
I can't really help you out with that but I too am also interested in moving to Colorado. I've been applying to jobs in the Denver area lately but it's not the only place I've been looking. I presently live in Northern New Jersey so I've been looking in NYC but also Los Angeles, San Diego, and San Francisco.
Moving to Colorado is probably unlikely for me at this point because my girlfriend most likely would be opposed to moving there but I know she would like to live in California. She also needs to finish graduate school before she can make the move but I am willing to go ahead and move away without her for the time being.
The main attraction for me moving to Denver is the scenery, I've been there only once but it is very nice and of course, I would finally be able to attend Broncos games which would be a dream come true.

Well I've been in the construction business for awhile, until i got into the firefighting. I'm looking for a somewhat small town, friendly and fairly easy commute, with a not alot of violence. Also looking for something fairly close to Denver so it'd only take me 30-45mins to see my broncos :thumb:

How old are you? Married, Single, kids?
Boulder is a college/hippie town that is about 35 mins from Denver and is a ton of fun. There's hardly no violence, party town, gorgeous town, gorgeous women, etc.
I lived there for a few years and had a blast. If that's not your scene, then there are still a lot of nice suburbs of Denver not too far away.

Highlands Ranch is the perfect neighborhood... It's a very new, nice County that has several fire stations you could look into. It's also only about 30 mins from Denver.
I have lived since 2004 and i dont think i will ever move. Like i said, everybody is genuinly nice and will go out of their way to help you out with anything you need. We also have 4 monster recenter's complete with huge pools, gyms, basketball courts.
Perfect place to raise a family if you eventually decide to do so. Amazing schools, and is rated as the lowest crime rate county in Colorado.
I could go on and on. But Colorado is an amazing state with tons of stuff to do. Never run out of things to do. Especially if your an outdoorsy person. Probably the best state in the US when it comes to that category.
Ya would be a good choice IMO. If nothing else, it would be a fun start to moving out here, and seeing which town best suits you.
But see, I wouldnt know anybody around there, or CO itself, So i'm hoping for a real easy going town to make some friends, and if Boulder is just that then more the merrier[/RIGHT]

I've only been to CO one time, and that was in a plane landing in Denver, first impression was jaw dropping and instantly i knew thats where I wanted to live. I'm also a very active hunter and love fishing. the recenters sound really nice.

Lots of new places up between Evergreen and Lookout Mtn. Hoping to move up there myself, actually.
