  • Senior Trip Ideas?

So I'm a junior in HS this year but me and some buddies are starting to think about where we'll go for our senior trip. I've always wanted to go to Yellowstone, and I will before I die, but being in SC, a roadtrip all the way cross-country would be a little too expensive for our budget. Anybody have some ideas for a place we could visit that isn't too rich? I'm open to any ideas but I would prefer in-country.

Come to Denver for part of Training Camp, hit up the stadium practice and try to hit a preseason game.

                Trip

                Do New Orleans

It is only about an 11 hour ride and lots to do there:

You might catch Mardi Gras and the Jazz Festival, they are world famous events. New Orleans The Saint Charles Streetcar is the oldest continuously operating street railway in the world and is a "tourist attraction" in its own right.

I dunno but sounds cool to me, (but I am old )

                P.S.

Did yellowstone 2 summers ago on my Motorbike and it was very cool. Expensive to stay around the park though.

Drive up to DC. Check out there and surrounding areas. All the monuments. The Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. See the Arlington Cemetery. Etc..

Then drive up to Philadelphia and see the original Nation's capital. Then up to New York and see the Statue of Liberty and Ground Zero.

There are tons to see at these stops.

I'm still trying to figure that out myself. And I AM a senior lol me and a friend were thinking the MLB all star game in July (luckily it wouldn't be too far since it's in Phoenix and I live in denver)

I think for you guys, maybe florida? Washington D.C?

                            I'm retiring in 2012.

Some of my juniors want me to take them on a trip to Italy and Greece after they graduate and I retire.

                            It's expensive. We'll see.

You're right near Charleston, one of the coolest places on earth. Keep it cheap and go there.
