It's quite clear it's designed almost primarily for tablets... I don't like the look of it for a desktop or laptop pc...

Man thats brutal ... I had to run a dinosuar for the better part of last year and was shocked about how obsolete Win 98 had become..Granted 98 and now its '11 but still...About all I could do on the net was on here ...

When I seen the title of the thread my first thought was Win Xp becoming obsolete

Eh that doesn't look very nice.

I LOVE Windows 7. Don't tweak it too much please...

I don't know about you guys but personally I love that "snap" feature, the current format IMO is clunky and annoying and I'm glad to see it addressed
What's the difference between ignorance and apathy?

I will certainly not be upgrading to that.

7 is the best OS since 98.

                    I think I preferred XP to 98.

Windows 7 is the best OS since Windows 2000.

Which was the best Windows OS before 7 came out.

Vista was okay if you bought a pre-built computer with it, but it was so absurdly petrified of custom built computers it was ridiculous. I build all my computers myself and with Vista it was constantly blue screening, freezing, crashing, exploding, everything. I put Windows 7 on that same computer about a year or so and it has frozen maybe once.

Vista is also a system hog, if you put it on a low end machine it kills it.

Windows 7 has never frozen for me. Very smooth and fast. I prefer not having fancy bells and whistles of touch screens though. It's just a pain to move my arms around all over the place instead of using a laptop with everything right in front of me. That goes for the screen too, I don't want to scroll around looking for stuff.

That's why I knew I wasn't gonna like the Wii when I first heard about. When I'm playing games I want to lay down and chill, not flail about and get pissed off when it isn't properly reading my movements.
