I can't stand Ikea. When I was stationed in BMore the only furniture store (that wasn't the Room store or whatnot) was Ikea, and their stuff was overpriced crap.

I'm not into the Euro style furniture, nor do I want to pay those premium prices for an inferior product.

I actually bought a bedroom set from Furniture Row, and had it shipped out to me. American Furniture Warehouse and Furniture Row are WAYYYY better then IKEA.

I haven't been the the Ikea here in Denver, and the one I did go to was on the East Coast a few years back, so maybe the prices are cheaper now than they were then.

Either way, their furniture is substandard.

Ikea is extremely cheap, that is the whole point. Those swedes are competing with China.

The whole point of Ikea is it's budget-priced... and I've never had a problem with the quality of the products I've bought from there. Obviously you need to be smart and not buy things that are clearly a pile of junk, but that applies to most stores.
