People typically don't like weeds.......(note: do not take off the 's', or we may have a very different discussion....:nono
. They are not pretty, they grow almost anywhere/anyhow, and they mess up your lovely garden, grass and pretty much any part of your property. For sure, they are not something you would give to another, as a gift........"what a lovely gesture, a dozen weeds, and it's only our 2nd date!!!!!"
But hold tight......as much as I've taken them on, I do have some respect for weeds. Just think of them:
- they don't need any special care, or maintenance.....basically they're independent and free
- they're tough......no water, no grooming......no nothing! They don't ask for anything really...
- some of them are actually kind of "pretty"......kind of.......I mean, if people stopped giving them a bad rap, maybe we'd appreciate their unique look
So go out there, and spend a lot of time and a fair amount of money making your property look "good"......as some will define it.....but while you're at it, before you pull out another weed, at least give it a thumbs up:thumb: for not asking for anything, growing in spite of all its enemies, and for really only doing what we all try to do....survive.
Sure.......weeds do cause damage to crops, and I get that.......but the ones that show up around our property, are kind of interesting (to me anyway) as they basically make a statement..."hey, no one else seemed to want to live here, so I thought it was okay...."
