        I don't idolize a lot of people.

But I look-up too, idolize my grandfather, my other grandfather Ronald Simpkins(look him up).

        Not for some controversial people.

        Genghis Khan
        Brett Favre
        Ronald Reagan

        Others
        Myles Kennedy
        Me
        Galileo
        Johannes Kepler

Definitely some great ones there, interesting choice with Kepler. I like it. :thumb:

Got a few myself, don't think of them as idols though, more like great inspirations. Anyway, the Oracle of Omaha is definitely one, he's done some great things and I admire the steps he's taken within philanthropy.

              Helen Keller is definitely another.

I wouldn't say I idolise anybody, but I have a great deal of respect & admiration for the Dalai Lama.

Let just say people that impress me in an assortment of ways:

Steve Nash (fellow Canuck) comes to mind.......he lives a full life, maximizes his abilities, looks to make the world a better place, is very charitable, and is definitely a class act.

I'm surprised no one has said anything about a famed killer being someone I consider a idol.lol

I once wrote an essay in which I stated that Hitler was as honorable as Jesus and Gandhi. I am unphashed

But I am curious about your addition of one of the biggest mass murderers in the history of the world, so explain yourself.

I'll give my top 3. I look up/try to live by these guys' examples:

                          Bruce Lee
                          Henry David Thoreau
                          Gandhi

In his defense, Genghis Khan wasn't a mass murderer, he was just a mass conqueror.

The reason for me idolizing Khan is because he was a great leader, among other small things.
