maybe I can get help in here ...

I got a new Tablet for Christmas. I had an extra 4GB Micro SD card laying around so I popped it in and now I'm trying to save a couple movies to the SD card.

When I hook the Tablet up via USB to my computer I can not get the MP4 files to save on anything but the Tablet memory, and once I have them saved to the Tablet memory I can not move them over to the SD card memory???

    What gives Droid users?

if it's needed, the Tablet is a Velocity Cruz T408

    Thanks

Did you format/mount the Micro SD card?

Yep. I have a file manager app and I can see the SD card file in there and when I go into settings the tablet recognizes the SD card and tells me I have 3.69GB available to use??

That's weird. You should see the root of the SD card immediately after you plug it in to your computer.

What OS is your computer running?

Do you have an SD adapter for your micro-SD?

You should try transferring the movie by using that, if you can. I'm doing some quick google research on your problem and can't find anything.

Yeah I have the SD adapter for the micro SD card, but I don't have an SD card reader for my PC ....

Don't know why but it's fixed now ...

I took the SD card out, factory reset the Tablet, put the SD Card back in and booted it back up and all works normal. Now when I hook it up to my PC it recognizes both the SD card and Internal Tablet Memory.
