Usually when people mention the words, "having it made" it refers to some form of financial comfort, possibly a situation that for the long term, looks very, very sweet. But I would offer that "having it made" is a superficial way to look at life, unless it relates to the kind of person that has a high degree of character, solid morals, resourcefulness and is generally a giver, not a taker. That may be a too brief a description, but it's a definite start in the right direction. I'll expand later.
One needs to be careful about a financial situation turning into the be all end all factor. If it's just about money/material, one must be cautioned not to believe that they can sit back with all the treasure and basically turn off the "active" element that got them there, plus made them who they are. I really don't believe that in most situations (there are exceptions for sure) the right goal is to hit a certain point financially, and then float along in "coast" mode, especially if one has time and ability. Again, there are exceptions.
But really, if someone asked me who has it made, I'd look closely at those things that make that person, "the person they are." I'd look for Character.... Morals....Sharing....Leadership (even if low key)....Caring....Common Sense....Resourcefulness....Humour....Commitment.. ..Optimism (these would make for an excellent start). Regardless of financial wealth, a person with this package of gifts will wake up every day with some form of plan to make that day better. A person such as this, would not turn off their ways, and consciously curtail the "what could be" just because they had it made. They would continue. Their wealth is immeasurable, and that would exclude the money or property or other material ownership.
In that sense, tomorrow could always be the best day ever......that may not be "having it made", but for me, it sure comes close!
