That's good stuff, man. You sure are right though everything is much better without them. I don't get sick as much and don't have it to run to when I'm pissed about something.

Honestly, mine is to be healthier. Stop drinking( I dont drink often, but when I do it tends to be a bit much), stop eating unhealthy crap, get a gym membership, get a new job and go to school.

I never really get the whole dieting & eating healthy thing. We only live once (depending on your beliefs), so I say enjoy what you eat. I only eat one meal a day + snacks & I enjoy everything that goes in my mouth. It's one of the very few things that I actually enjoy

I enjoy it too. Its not really a diet, just eat a little healthier, cut out the fast food and what not.

I never personally understood the whole 'new years resolution' thing.

I always figured if you want to do something just start doing it.

that being said if new years is a catalyst for people to make those positive changes. More power to you!

and to anyone who decides to start going to the gym WIPE OFF YOUR BENCH WHEN YOU FINISH!

                  thanks

I love fast food. I'd get it 3-4x a week if I could afford any of it. As it is, I get it twice a month

My new years resolution was to not set a new years resolution.

I have recently stated that January 1 is not really much different than the day before.....as in, life goes on. As has been mentioned by at least one other, I try to make adjustments at any time in the year, not just for January 1......but I have considered the New Year's route before, albeit it shouldn't be initiated because others talk about it. Sounds like a fad, and I am not big on fads.

Most resolutions do not make it past January.......but I hope all of you have success, in spite of the stats. THe one thing that ticks me about it however, is the resurgence of those working out at the University gym I love (as an alumni)....suddenly there are too many people taking up too many machines. But the good news, the numbers start to decline in a few weeks.

Again, hope you are successful in your plan of attack, if it's a positive consideration. And I hope it sticks with you. It's hard sometimes. BUt I will make one recommendation............just work at one project at a time. Don't tax yourself with too much change. It's not fair to yourself.

BTW.....please stay out of the gym I attend!!!!

I don't know if I work hard enough to sweat up the equipment........

Actually, the truth is, this is me .....panting like a dog after the first 5 minutes. It's good though.....I softly slide off the benches that I work out on......(but yes, I dry them off as well!)
