Daylight Saving(s) Time

Hi, Broncos fans! Don't forget to set all your clocks one hour ahead this weekend for Daylight Savings Time beginning at 2:00AM early Sunday, March 11. All of us are gaining an extra hour of daylight for the upcoming spring and summer.

This period of Daylight Saving Time is scheduled to end eight months later again early Sunday Morning, on November 11, where all the clocks fall back again one hour, and one less hour of daylight for the upcoming winter.

To conserve energy, and make farming a tad bit easier on the farmers, so they can stay out later in the day doing what needs to be done with their crops...

Its for people to take advantage of the extra amounts of sunlight during summer.

I have a much easier time "springing ahead" than I do "falling back".

Living in the one province who doesnt switch clocks. all this does is mess up the times of TV shows

There was a local politician who proposed a bill in the state senate about daylight savings time..

We were all like .. "Yeee haw! Give us more light all year long!"

It was such a great idea.

Then we found out she was proposing that it should
ALWAYS get dark earlier..
NEVER spring forward!

Ridiculous! The idea went down in flames... as all bad ideas should.

Then a few years later..
another politician proposed a bill to make it light later all year long..
We were all like.. "Yee Haw!"..

Then that witch proposed the exact opposite law again..
the dueling proposals both failed.

I LOVE when we spring forward.
As of last year...
they extended the start date by 2 weeks ( before the frst day of spring)
and the end date by 2 weeks in the fall.

every few years some politician brings up the idea of implementing daylight savings... and then nothing ever comes of it. shame really during the winter you wake up to darkness go to work/school and then come home to darkness. haha

hahaha... last year we had a girl show up to her shifts an hour early (she had recently moved to the province) she was so confused.
