  • Rant About Work

I figured I'd put this here for anyone who is pissed off about work to vent their frustrations.

So I deliver pizzas for Pizza Hut part time. Well usually people tip pretty darn well in the area I deliver to, which is the richest part of town, and I usually get at least something as a tip. So you could call me spoiled when it comes to tips but....

To the 5 beef head high school jock morons that ordered 60 dollars worth of pizza I say... Screw you!!!! Not only did they not tip me but says behind my back I should get a real job loud enough for me to here and that I shouldn't get a tip.

And to the people who call on the phone and say their phone number as fast as they can I say.... Screw you!!! Talk slower! This only makes you get the pizza slower if you hold me down by saying your phone number and order faster than the speed of fart.

I'm sure I'll think of more later. Anyone else have rants?

I can't stand at my job how one or two of the guys don't like one another & it seems because of my personality that i'm always in the middle of hearing them talk about each other.

See i for the most part get along with or attempt to get along with everybody i work with & everyone in general because life is too short to have enemies & it's much nicer when people get along. Well that's just my :2cents:

Yes I do, and every day I want to come here and rant about it. But I assume nobody wants to hear that crap, so I dont.

But now, I do know I have a place to come and vent, because I am disrespected everyday at my Job. They are very old fashioned and tell you to your face, if you dont like it, quit. Rules I live live by, regardless the Job, but in this economy.....Pleaaaseee. I have responsibilities.

I have never seen a company work you like a dog, not pay you and then take advantage of an economy like they do.

Future rants with actual situational events to come, Im sure.

I just got a verbal warning for screw ups, and a negative attitude (my attitude is greatly improved over the last month and a half actually) so they asked me what my frustrations were, in that little meeting... I felt blindsided and couldn't come up with any from the past at the moment, so I sat down and wrote it out... ended up with three pages worth of letter to give to my supervisor this morning...

That guy might have to do the same thing later in the future, so he shouldn't be saying anything. At least you have a job, and you earn enough to put food on the table. What a jerk. Try not to let those things bug you.

I work as a checker at King Soopers, and there was one time where a customer thought I was throwing his chips (and I can promise you I wasn't) so what he did was grab his chips, and hit me on the wrist with it and complained to one of my head clerks. Weird thing is that he's in his 40's or 50's and did that. Boy was I mad after that.

I worked so many jobs and been unemployed so many times before landing this job I love that I respect everyones occupation rather you at McDonald's or your a doctor or you dressed up waving to people for the tax office I respect that your out making an honest living and handling your business. You might not like it or be to proud of what your doing but atleast you have a job and not to many people can say that right now. One thing I always would tell myself when at a job I didnt like is it could always be worse.

And what pisses me off are My boss and impatient people.
Or when meth heads come in and act like they run the place (trust me we have PLENTY of metheads in Montana)

Also, when people are rude or treat you like your scum because your in a uniform making their food.

He shouldn't have said that because a job is a job. They are probably just people that live off mommy and daddys money. I'll never complain about work anymore because I was unemployed for a while and it sucks. Any job is a job, and they are hard to find, so its a good thing to keep it.

I work as a shift manager in a grocery store. I don't catch a lot of crap though, cause I'm a big guy and I guess intimidate people lol. What I can't stand is people who abuse the foodstamp program. Buying tons of pop and candy, then turning around and getting liquor and cartons of cigaretts. You can't afford food apparently, but you can sure buy that crap. Then you hear about people who really need the help and are denied.

Yea, I hate that. They can buy cigs and all that junk, but they use food stamps to buy junk food. Makes me sick. Also hate when people don't know how to put carts where they belong

That bugs me too. We had 52 carts a few years ago. We are down to about 30. We have ordered more but people seem to think its ok to steal them.
