Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Well, I like to customize my sandwich at Subway too, but I won't moan at things.
I agree about the people looking down at you. It's not hard to tell that you could be a college student. People should really consider that. I'm a college student too, and I also work part-time.
I totally agree about customizing it, but we have people that will yell at us if there isnt a piece of onion on one tiny little piece of it and stuff like that. Like of course it should be good but if that one little spot is bare of an onion slice, is the whole thing ruined? People get extremely picky if it isnt 110% perfect.
Yeah its ridiculous when people look down on us college kids because we work crappy part time jobs, its not like we want to work at these places necessarily but income is a must for a college kid.
Im a college student and work part time at a Subway, and the thing that pisses me off are people that need everything so particular at a fast food restaurant.
People need every meat, cheese, and veggie touching every centimeter of bread, and my thought is...its Subway. This isnt high quality, 5 star dining, its a freaking Subway. If you need a perfect sandwich, go to a higher priced place or make it at home.
My other annoyance is when people act like they look down on me or my coworkers for working there. Sorry but I am a college student trying to earn a few bucks to spend and people act like I have a useless existence because I dont work as a CEO or something.
People are far too whiny and needy sometimes when it comes to their food, its Subway, lower the standards people.

Early on in this thread I was moaning about the fact that when I asked for the chance to apply for a promotion I was told no. Well today in work I got told to apply for it. Absolutely ecstatic!

Been working for the same company for nearly 2 years now.....moved to CO from FL in 2010 and can't say how much I enjoy the perks, benefits, hours, etc of my current job. Sure it's a pain in the ass to work accounts every day and try to collect money from the gov't who is trillions of $$$$ in debt, but hell, it's in the medical field and......
It's 101 degrees out and I have to deliver pizzas in this weather. The real bad part is the fact that my uniform is ALL black plus they make you wear a black hat.
I completely agree with that. I remember about 2 years ago I was really sick. I was throwing up, and I literally did not have the energy to get out of bed. I didn't work that day, but the next day, I did. I felt better, but I still felt horrible, and I shouldn't go in. They almost made me anyway, even though I hardly ever call in, and I hardly ever get sick.
The one time I do get sick, they almost make me come in anyway. If I were a customer, I wouldn't want someone puking over my food.
