Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Yeah they sorta add character to you but some little things really make them suck
Can't watch tv laying down, they can scratch/get dirty easily, there's a black rim in your sight at all times. Just things like that
Not to mention the scars you can get on your nose.
I've been wearing glasses since I was a little kid. When I was really little I even had to wear an eyepatch (I am legally blind in one eye - nothing but fuzz without my glasses ... still is fuzz when just using my bad eye even with glasses; the other eye isn't quite great vision but is alright)
I am also certain the only people who 'want' glasses are the people who don't require them. sooo haha
Yeah man, pretty much.
I have 20/400 in my right eye and 20/80 in my left. If someone was to stand 20 feet in front of me, without my glasses, I wouldn't be able to tell you who they were. Text is even worse. Like if I was in a car driving without my glasses, even if I was parked next to your average street sign, I wouldn't be able to tell you what it said. It sucks waking up in the morning, and either having to put on glasses, or poke yourself in the eye to put in contacts just to be able to see enough to not stub your toe lol
I can't get lasik either, but not because my eyes are sensitive, but because my retinas are too big. The laser only works on a retina that's so big, and mine's outside the limits. If I were to get it done, I'd have really bad halos (blown out looking star patterns around lights especially at night etc.) and other complications. Not to mention it's expensive as hell.
I wish I could just get up in the morning and just see. Sounds weird but if you don't know then you don't know.
