Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Fell in love with the NFL watching the broncos... you don't really have a 'team' up here but watching guys like TD tear it up and Elway and Sharpe out there... just became a fan.
Being a canuck, we have always had the CFL.....and in my case, our Winnipeg Blue Bombers were an amazing team growing up. Because I love sports, I ventured into the NFL very early as well. And because geographically I wasn't tied to any team, other than the Vikings possibly - because Minneapolis is the closest City to Winnipeg, I kind of bounced around a bit when I was young......for example, I was a huge John Riggins fan back in the day, and followed The Redskins while he was there. I was also a big fan of Marino, Montana and their respective squads. Believe it or not, when Stabler was QB, I even liked The Raiders for a while (please don't hurt me)....but that ended a long time ago!!
But at different times, I liked aspects of The Broncos, especially when Gradishar and those amazing Defensive guys wore Orange & Blue. And then seeing games with snow all over the ground, I realized Denver, along with the Rockies (we share) had a nice northern feeling about it. The feeling grew.
Then one day, this young QB wearing #7 took over, and everything fell into place going forward. It was him, and Eddie Mac, and Rod and TD and so on....and Shanny, and something about the Rocky Mountain atmosphere that made me 100% Bronco for life. And after having the pleasure of visiting Denver on business, I also fell for the City and surrounding area. Colorado has its share of beauty, and the people were very nice.
And although the earlier years were not always successful, we sure got spoiled along the way!!
I've had many "great" sports moments......and watching us stop Green Bay on that 4th down to win the SB was definitely one of them.
Now if we could only get you actually speaking french... we might be able to start the conversion.
well... I used to play hockey any chance I got... I am constantly apologizing when people hurt me... I think my mom may have failed to mention that my father is Canadian...
