Have a paypal refund/payment question

About a week ago I ordered some stuff using a greendot mastercard (it works like a gift certificate).

The card is connected to my paypal account.

Couple of the items I ordered were out of stock and I received and email today saying they refunded my money (as well as notified via paypal)

Does anyone know if this money will go back to my greendot card or if it will end up in to the "funds" of paypal.

If it ends up to the funds of paypal, is it possible to spend that money directly from paypal without withdrawing it first (having to wait 4+ days)?

It will most likely go back to your PayPal acct. If it does, yes, you can pay for things directly with any funds in that acct without having to withdraw it. Hope that helps.

do you know how to purchase items if the money is in the account or does it work like any other purchase?

From personal experience, I've found that when making a purchase, if there is money in my Paypal Account it will automatically take the payment from there when making a transaction.

I believe that it will go directly into you Paypal account, and yes you can use it to purchase anything, as long as they take Paypal as payment. You can also apply for a Paypal Debit Card (Mastercard) on their website. Where as long as you have funds in your Paypal account, you can use your card anywhere Mastercard is accepted.

Jaws is right. If there is money in your PP acct, when you make a purchase it takes that money automatically.

I checked my paypal account and says my account was refunded and completed. But my balance in my paypal is zero and the amount in my greendot card has not showed up.

Does it take a few days (excluding weekends) for the money to show up?
