Australian accent vs. British accent

Nothing tops a Scottish accent.

South African accents are pretty ugly. The ladies seem to like it for some reason though.

And with British accents, you really have to specify what sort of British accent. I'm going to stop there because some people would probably class me as being extremely regionalist and/or classist. But, for example, the West Country accent is great (and almost always hilarious), whilst someone like, I dunno, Adele's accent is really kind of grating. Sorry if I offended anyone (but on grounds of region only, if you take exception to me taking a shot at Adele, then I fart in your general direction)

I'm sure you get a similar thing with the Aussie accent too.

I like a variety of British, Aussie, Irish, Scottish, South African and so on.

I still find that some of the above, make folks sound smarter. Whereas, some accents (not going to be too specific, but there are a number of them, and they are found in various countries) make folks sound less intelligent.

So, my advice, if you need to upgrade yourself, learn a good accent! And if you're too bright, take on a less sophisticated accent.......I had to do it.
