Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.

Shooting and explosion at midnight showing of The Dark Knight Rises in Aurora, Colorado, near Denver, reports say 14 dead and 30 injured. Suspected killer identified as James Holmes, aged 24.
Pretty crazy stuff. Its going on right now, and I'm watching it on channel 9 news. Not sure why anyone would do that? Hopefully everyone here is safe. Kinda crazy how you go to the movies to have fun and enjoy a movie, and then something like this happens.
Yea this is just crazy. You cant even go to a simple movie without something bad happening. Hopefully the suspect they have is the shooter and they get him arrested. Just a crazy world we live in.
This is awful. I get sick just thinking about it because I was at a different theatre and after a fight broke out before the movie I made a comment to my friend that I've always been afraid a sicko could bring a gun to an event like this and everyone inside would be completely defenseless. This is awful news. Tonight was supposed to be a fun night for fans of cinema and it ended in tragedy. R.I.P. to the victims.
No amount of punishment is too much for the human that did this. Sadly, it's probably what they want. If only broken humans wouldn't take it out on other people. We need to stop the crap overseas and worry about what's happening right here in the US of A. Get more help, God knows we need it.
