Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

I'm curious, right now I have Comcast internet and I only get 3 bars which kind of sucks for online gaming like Diablo III and SWTOR. I have a router through T-Mobile and I was thinking of getting an internet extender first, and then buying a better router second.
Any advice on what else I can do to improve my internet speed?

Latency (the amount of time it takes for your computer to talk to the server) seems to the issue from what I can tell. When using Wi-Fi, my internet speeds are drastically reduced compared to when I'm using a wired connection to my router. My download speeds are almost three times faster wired when testing via speedtest.net. If possible, I would try connecting via ethernet cable through your router. Ethernet cables aren't expensive at all so it's not a very risky thing to just try out and see if it improves anything.

I already have some Ethernet Cables for my internet router and they aren't doing jack squat. What I think I need is a new modem. I'm thinking about getting one of the New Year Modem's that are the top of the line right now.

If your run the ethernet cable directly from your modem to your computer is it faster?
Nope. It's really weird it fluctuates from 3-4 and then to even 2 bars sometimes. It's like it tries to have 4 bars but it's not powerful enough or something.
