Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Dang....might have to change my vote if this winter keeps up. It was -45C windchill again today. That sucks!!!
Oh well, it won't last too long. But still, I sometimes forget how cold these old prairie winters can get.
Yet again........windchills in the -40s again overnight and into the morning. That's not even bad......I read that some places in our great white north are so cold today that exposed skin freezes in less than 2 minutes. That's so fast you might not even notice the part(s) missing on you, if you get my drift.
Tip for the day....."guys, cold weather and taking a whiz outside don't go too well together!!!"
I have had heat exhaustion a few times, and heat stroke once. Neither are very fun.
Kind of scary, right? My take is that when we push ourselves to extremes, the body goes into another mode, and we are now talking basic survival.......and that's not a safe place to be.
When I was younger I thought I could tolerate heat more than cold, but as I've gotten older I've found that when it's extremely cold I can usually add enough clothing to compensate, but extreme heat is almost unbearable, especially when you have to work in it.

Thank you to my grandfather jetrazor for being a veteran of the armed forces!
I'll vote for extreme heat. It's probably because I live in a freezer but I find it easyer to put more clothes on, put more wood log in the fireplace, add more sheets to the bed instead of trying to find shade, installing a A/C and such...

Yea, its not a great place to be.
I think the worst time I had was in Moab. It was late may, and I went with some pretty novice mountain bikers.
We did Porcupine Rim, which is a 14 mile ride. The problem is that the new guys took quite awhile. Spent far too much time in the sun, and didn't have near enough water to compensate.
What was supposed to be a 4-5 hour ride turned into 10. That was probably the furthest I've ever pushed myself.

I'll take extreme heat. Cold HURTS. Cold makes extremities not function properly. Sure, cramping can result from dehydration and all that, but thats easy. Once your fingers and toes are at that point...its over.
You're doing a doctorate project on this?!?!?!? WHY DID YOU TIP US OFF NOW ITS ALL SCRAP HEAP MATERIAL!!! YOU'VE INADVERTENTLY RUINED EVERYTHING! GOOD JOB DOOGIE HOWSER 2.0! -______-
