I'm trying to get my poem to Mars! Need my fellow Bronco's fan's help!!!

So I entered a NASA contest to get my poem sent to Mars. The Top 3 entries will be put on the MAVEN orbiter scheduled to leave later this year. Out of the 12,790 entries I am currently holding the 3rd and final spot!!!

But I am only up by 160 votes on the 4th place guy. Please only vote from your computer one time. People who vote from the same computer more than once they are taking away their votes. Feel free to share on FB, Twitter, and other social media websites.

Thank you all for your votes. I am still holding the 3rd spot but my lead has dwindled from 171 to 146. Still many more days of voting to go. The 2nd place guy is nearly 1,000 votes ahead of me and appears to be out of sight at the current rate. So it is likely a battle for 3rd place.

Gotta be honest, that person just behind you in votes had a really powerful poem so I had to be true to myself and vote for that one, no hard feelings I hope.

I posted the link on the NFL UK forum and got LOADS of people to vote (although I'm afraid most voted for the same one I did)

I'll be honest I didn't read any of the other poems, because I'm not really into poetry.... but wish you the best of TriCityBronco. I think it's a cool contest you entered there! :thumb:

Posters who discourage others in their talent for no reason is a good reminder as to why I don't add my short stories to non-writing forums. A writing thread would be fun in this forum for folks who like to write to contribute to.

Local newspaper does article about my Mars poem...

So I had reached out to the newspaper to see if they would put a link to my poem on their website for the remainder of the contest and a reporter ended up calling me and asking to do a story on the whole thing. Pretty cool. So here is that article:
