Any Beardsmen out there!?

So I started on my journey of growing an epic beard about 5-6 months ago and I was wondering if there are any other Beardsmen out there?

Right now mine is pretty full and looking good, I keep it scissor trimmed so the scraggly hairs don't go crazy and I also keep it trimmed on the cheeks and neckline.

How about Product .... Do you use any product for your beard? if so what do you use?

I may need to start using some beard product because I've noticed that the longer it get's the more "wirey" it get's and I don't want it to look like a hobo beard, I want it to look like a scholars beard!!!

Allergic to Bees Wax so anything made by Burt's is out of the question for me ... the stuff I'm looking at is

I don't think I'd want to use a heavy wax on my face either, someone I talked to at a store the other day said they use Pomade for hair in their beard, but some of those are very greasy!

I don't have the ability the grow a beard if I try its just grows all patchy, it takes me months to grow a small goatee.
