  • Traditional Food From My Point Of View

Why can't I just have a pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms?

I don't need pineapples. I don't need spinach. I don't need BBQ sauce with chicken and bacon. And the combinations they come up with are beyond words for me.

Why can't I just have a beef taco?

I don't need fish or shrimp or layered squash?

Why can't I just have a potato chip?

BBQ, Sour Cream and Onion.... I get all of those flavors but why is there: sea salt and vinegar, spicy Thai, chicken and waffles....?

Why does my BBQ sauce have to be so complicated?

At let's not even get started on bread. Good grief.

Just a few examples of how the food industry messes with guys like me who like the simple flavors. Like the old fashioned steak and potato and a salad.

Oh Lord... Now I have to choose a salad dressing.

I was shopping today at King Soopers and noticed there is an entire aisle devoted to chips-- both sides; nothing but chips, pretzels and popcorn. Name your flavor combination and they had it in both regular and reduced fat.
