Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

I gotta say... this is becoming one of my favorite threads!!
You know what (among other things) I like so far about the output of this thread.....positivity attracts positive people. It's like the way people and other of life's creatures are attracted to the light. It's a force baby!!!
And yes....it's as good a day as you want to make of it (perhaps more)!

“One of the most significant negative habits we should be aware of is that of constantly allowing our mind to run off into the future. Perhaps we got this from our parents. Carried away by our worries, we’re unable to live fully and happily in the present. Deep down, we believe we can’t really be happy just yet—that we still have a few more boxes to be checked off before we can really enjoy life.”
— Thich Nhat Hanh
Today's pre-morning (day doesn't officially start till 7.30a.m) moment of positivity involves bacon, eggs, baby zucchini and fried bread and a washing machine alarm clock! When the beep goes on that, it's time to get up, exit my beloved Broncos boards and start my final assigment. I'm extra motivated to give it my best seeing as the exam went quite well with a mark of 85% - due to the positivity sent in this thread I am sure
I look at it this way. Last night there were 3 key games (different sports) I was watching. I lost the first two, but won the third. It made up for the losses.
And had I lost the third too.....I would have looked forward to a better day of sports. Not as easy as it sounds, but it works. I've come a long way in this regard.
