I get a kick out of sayings or quotes, and I also enjoy using some of them, although when they get too "common" I am not as willing to employ. For example, "it is what it is" has a lot of meaning packed into a short line, but trouble is, you could hardly go a day without hearing someone say it. I believe that one is so compact and loaded with meaning, that most of us jumped all over it......especially people in sports!! It definitely saves a lot of explanation.
Today I am going to offer a saying, and give it a twist. I will think of more I'm sure.
Saying: It's the journey, not the destination (note: you will find various versions of the same concept)
My twist: It's gotta be the destination, because I was drunk on the plane the whole trip
