  • Should I Get a Tattoo?

I know what I want, and it won't hurt. However should I waste my precious $ on it?

It's your life, if you really want it...go for it! But as someone who watches Ink Master and Tattoo Nightmares regularly...I'd say just make sure you're confident the artist will do a great job! The last thing you want to do is have to get a cover up

Go for it, HUMCALC! I vote yes...because I'm glad I have mine.

I vote yes, even though I don't have any ... nothing wrong with them if you like them. What are you thinking of getting a tattoo of?

          The blue S, and/or a Tebow one

I LOVE Lois and Clark, and those are two of my favorite colors. Before I make my mind up, I need info from my doctor & I need prices

I think the Superman "S" sends a cool message when worn by anyone fighting health issues. The only time I ever considered a tat was after my thyroid cancer surgery a couple years back...I toyed with the idea of getting "Survivor" right under the scar on my neck but soon lost interest - not to mention it would have hurt like crazy

I'll tell ya.... I have a red and black Superman "S" on my right pec. I've have it nearly 20 years and it's part of me. I no longer "see" it.. it's me. So when people comment on it when I'm shirtless at the beach or wherever, it catches me off guard. The "S" packs a lot of meaning.... so, if it means that much to you? I say do it!

My take on tattoos.....if I get one, it will be small and in a place that is pretty tight. And I will think long and hard about whether or not I will still love it years from now.

As for HC....if you really want one, just do it!

Just noticed......it probably won't be long before you have the same number of posts as your "elevation". Don't even ask how I noticed it. Lets just say some things catch my eye.....while other things never sink in this old mug!!!

If you are not sure, maybe you could have the tattoo artist draw it on and live with the drawing for a few days to get a feel for whether or not you actually want it or want it altered before you get the ink done.

That's what I did. I got a Tramp Stamp that read 'Humcalc' but realized it wasn't for me and washed it off.

If you have to ask then the answer is no.

I buddy of mine did the very same thing. He had the drawing set up right next to his bed so it was the first thing he saw every morning. He decided if he could still like it after a few weeks he'd get it. He got bored of it after a few days, sick of it within a week.
