  • Daylight Savings Time

Hi, Broncos fans! Don't forget to set your digital clocks one hour back. Daylight Saving Time officially begins by 2:00 AM early Sunday Morning on November 4, 2018, until early Sunday Morning by 2:00 AM on March 3, 2019. We gain an extra hour of sleep, but also lose an hour of daylight for the next four months.

DST is not observed though in Arizona (except the Navajo Nation), Hawaii, Guam, Mariana Islands, and the Virgin Islands. Enjoy!

            GRRRR umble.

I wish we could just leave it be. This combined with the days getting shorter leading up to the solstice has us in pitch blackness by 5 pm next month --what a jip!

This time of year, it is a noticeable change in light....not quite so bright in the early morn but the light will prevail into the evening. And of course, the days are getting longer, a nice complementary factor that began back in December.

                All good!

I hate DST.... I need the daylight in the mornings not when I am trying to sleep.

There is no free lunch and we still have the same amount of daylight during the day.

It's now dark again when I go to work.
