Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

The DIY "This Is What I Built/Created/Made" Thread
Well here is an update on our little project. Sorry pics aren't so great. Have to get out the camera sooner or later. The phone is just very convenient.
If my measuring is correct, we have cleared just under 20 acres and added 2 ponds. I think we are going to work on doing the exterior to the house this coming year along with fencing and starting to use the cleared property.. Afterwards we will figure out whether we want to clear more or leave it as it is.
I mentioned elsewhere that I am excited that we actually have a decent river view from our condo, once the leaves fall. But you are doing the smarter thing....bringing the water to you.:thumb:
We bought it as our retirement property. The idea is to have a small farm to tend to in retirement while limiting our bills and making a little extra money, and dealing with critters which we love doing anyway . Right now the only thing on grid on the property is the electric. If I can get to it, I'm going to install solar and wind with a backup gas generator and get totally off grid. We have planted 16 fruit trees, put in 1600 sq ft garden and are planning to ad Chickens, Ducks and Sheep to the property. When we get that far, we willl figure out the rest.
Note: I would hardly call it loads, we are very small compared to what is around us. But we do love the country, the mountains and the solace it provides.
Sounds beautiful.
If I remember correctly, your wife is crafty? Is she planning to use the wool for spinning? That's something that interests me but have never tried.

Not at this point, but you never know with her. She gets an idea and there aint no stopping her.:thumb:But, at this point, the only tools i know she wants to use with the sheep is a knife and fork.

That should not make a vegetarian laugh, but it did. I'm still smiling.
