This would be easier if the boards enabled code code - long story.

If you wanted to post a link to say... Yahoo... here's how you'd do it:

Yahoo link <url=http://www.yahoo.com>here</url> in bright orange letters.

Now replace each of the "<" and ">" signs with a bracket "[" or "]" and you're set.


And it would turn out like this:

Yahoo link here in bright orange letters.

I know that will automatically provide the links.

But making a link to another thread, quoting more than one person at a time- I cant do that.

But it's no big deal to me. I'll let you know when I really wan to learn that stuff. I do know who to ask! lol.

just go to the thread you want to link to

and COPY the address at the top of the screen in the browser

then PASTE it into your post

VIOLA!!


To make a link out of words or phrases just open up a posting box and at the top pres the button with the little earth in it. From there, it will ask you what your want your linked word/s to be for example lets have it be Jake Plummer after pressing OK it will ask you what the web address is. If you COPYied from visiting before than you can just PASTE it in. See? Wasn't that easy?
