    East coast vs. West coast

    Let's compare and contrast just a few items here.

    WEATHER
    East: Cold and crappy
    West: Mild and arid Advantage: West (Weather sucks here, year-round)

    ENTERTAINMENT CAPITAL
    East: New York City
    West: Los Angeles Advantage: East (Movies are made in LA, stars are found in NY)

    CULTURAL MECCA
    East: Atlanta
    West: Seattle Advantage: East (Peace up, A-town down)

    OLD SCHOOL RAPPER
    East: Biggie, Tupac
    West: Snoop, Dr. Dre Advantage: West (Snoop and Dre are still kickin')

    NEW SCHOOL RAPPER
    East: 50 Cent
    West: Game Advantage: East (Game would be slingin' in Compton still if not for G-unit)

    POINT OF IMMIGRATION
    East: Ellis Island, NY
    West: Baja, CA Advantage: East (We even have a statue to greet them here)
    CULTURALLY INFLUENCED FINGER FOOD
    East: Pizza
    West: Sushi Advantage: East (Pie versus raw fish- fugghetaboutit!)

    I'll think of more later. East is kickin' the West's tail here! C'mon sons of California, who's representing the left coast out there?
    I've walked these streets, a loaded six-string on my back, I play for keeps 'cause I might not make it back, I've been everywhere still I'm standin' tall, I've seen a million faces and I've rocked them all!!:salute!:

          West: GMT-------------------Advantage: East (We see everything first and you live by our schedule )

          SIN CITIES
          East: Atlantic City
          West: Vegas-----------------Advantage: West (Vegas baby..VEGAS!!)

          POLITICIANS
          East: Hillary
          West: Schwartzenegger---Advantage: Push (Or disadvantage Both)

          RICH COMMUNITIES
          East: The Hamptons
          West: Beverly Hills----------Advantage: West (Never been to either, but it seems like the hotter broads are in the Hills)

          HATED SPORTS OWNERS
          East: Ted Turner
          West: Al Davis---------------Advantage: East (a very slight advantage I might add)

            What, Ted Turner is hated more than George Steinbrenner? Steinbrenner should be representing the East on this one.

              Excuse me there BBJ. Thats why I have the east coast feed on my direct TV system, and wouldnt you rather kick your feet up at 6:00pm and watch MNF rather then fall asleep on the couch by halftime? Hmmm Advantage West...

                Gambling

                East Coast has Atlantic City and the Casinos in CT
                West Coast only has Vegas

                I have to agree with Steinbrenner repping the East Coast for most hated although he be my man

                Rich Communities - I have to go with the Hamptons - its absolutely gorgeous - although the weather makes BH better -

                    Yeah but those casinos in CT rock - IMO anywho - but it has to do with the rural setting and not to mention I aint never been west but for once - so what do I know

                      I have to take offense to the Cultural Mecca, I have been to Atlanta a number of times and found it humid, boring and full of racism. I don't think Atlanta ever spawned a music genre that transcended music, art and fashion. In addition, Seattle hosts the second biggest arts and cultural festival next to Mardi Gras in the country. It is called Bumbershoot, every Labor day.

                      I could see other cities back east comparing (New York, Boston) But Atlanta, puhlease.

                      Horsie beat me to the time zone, I would much rather watch Monday Night football and still get a decent nights sleep.

                      And a hot chick comparison. Arizona/California girls blow anything the East has to offer out of the water. That enough gives the West the edge.

                          More then me thats for sure...
                          Laughlins the ticket tho. Youve got the river to play in during the day and the Casinos at night. Way more layed back then Vegas too...
