    Bodybuilding.com has tons of training articles for beginning lifters with diet plans and what not.. You can search for anything about lifting and find an article about it.

      O btw, Skippypodar.net has some good stuff for beginning lifters.. he also has videos of him doing the lifts. He has an awesome ab routine that I have been doing for some time.

        this link will give you some pretty good workouts that you can do with a minimal amount of equipment. i particularly like the ab recomendations.

        i'd add to stay away from the machines - you can do everything you need with just a few dumbell sets and an adjustable bench.

          Go Zero, I am happy for you, You dont need to eat more to gain muscle, if you lift your weight wll go up. I have gained weight since football but my waist is about the same size.

            some more advice: if you're benchpressing w/ a bar (instead of dumbells), make sure you have a spotter.

            David Little, a durable linebacker for the Pittsburgh Steelers who was voted to the Pro Bowl in 1990, died while weightlifting at home at Miami. He was 46. Little had heart disease and a cardiac fluttering caused him to drop 250 pounds of weights on his chest, the coroner said. The weights rolled onto his neck and suffocated him, the coroner said
