    we just adopted 6 kids, 10yr boy, 8yr girl, 7yr girl, 4yr boy, 3yr girl, 2yr girl.
All 6 are siblings, and biological grandchildren of my wifes. we had fostered them for 3 years( the youngest was 9 days old when we got her). Anybody else have foster or adoption families? the rewards are incredible , even though it is a lot of work

My sister has taken the liberty to be a foster parent for a teenage girl. I haven't met her yet -- but will when I graduate.

Thank you for doing these kids a good service, you should be very proud that you and your wife are wonderful human beings.

        Awesome AZ! That's terrific!

My sister and I are both adopted. My parent couldnt have children, and I am told my birth mother was a teenager. This was in 1963 remember, having a child out of wedlock at a young age was a no no.

Anyway, Congratulations on your family bro!!!

Wonderful thing you have done, I haven't adopted any kids but I was put up for adoption at birth. I have worked with disabled homeless people quite abit and it is always very rewarding, it takes special people to understand what they are going through.

It definitely changed our life, we had to buy a mini van, we went from a 970 sq ft mobile home we were buying to a 2200 sq ft 4 bd rm house that we're now buying, monthly bills jumped about $2000+ . our "dreams" for the immediate future changed. we were barely married a year when we took them in. After about 6 months, My wife said if i wanted to "bail out" on her she would completely understand, and not hold it against me. I told her that I had fallen in love with her, it didn't matter what else came along. as long as i still had her, we could do it. But really, anyone considering fostering or adopting, if you can, DO IT. It is well worth it. If you have questions or want advice, message me, I'll be glad to help if I can.
