Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Of the two traditional american pets, which do you prefer? Are you a cat person or a dog person?
Keep in mind that your responses will be shown on this poll. I'm sorry if I failed to include your favorite pet in this poll. I guess this is yet another biased BBJ poll..

I've walked these streets, a loaded six-string on my back, I play for keeps 'cause I might not make it back, I've been everywhere still I'm standin' tall, I've seen a million faces and I've rocked them all!!:salute!:
You should make your avater-- King of the Biased polls!
I find now I am a cat person. I still have a dog too, but at least one of the cats is with me at all times. They are cleaner, and make great pillows! Just my preference.
I love dogs. They are athletic, playfull, and just fun to be around. Cats on the otherhand, they are lazy, unathletic, and unplayfull. I hate cats.
You have never seen a cat catch a mouse! They are quite athletic and very playfull! One of them, Chester can run down any small creature and will only injure it for a while. He plays with it for hours until I take it away and toss it out back. He is also big on playing games with me!
Not to argue BVP, but you are dead wrong on your assesment of cats!

I have had a great cat named Ba-ba, which is Polish for baby. He was a Siamese cfat and one of the smartest animals that I have ever encountered...he used to pee in the toilet!
Then there was Sam, the best dog in whole wide world. He was a mutt. He had markings of a Shepard. That dog was soooo smart...one time, my mom had 3 beagle puppies that wandered off into the woods by my house...she searched for hours and came home sobbing...she told Sam to go and get her babies...and he did, 1 at a time, he brought them home by the skin on the backs of their necks..I swear that dog was a person reincarnated..

Well, all of my friends cats just lay around and fart all over the house. So, I guess I never get to see cats in action. But my puppy once tracked down a mouse, but my mom threw it away before he could eat it.
Cats are the deadliest hunters on the face of this earth, IMO....but I'm a dog-guy through and through...my face swells up like a balloon when exposed to cat-hair..

Great story! Thats why I like dogs, they can rescue people and other animals with their great sense of smell.
Our only pet now, is a dog named Piglet..she is not intensely bright...but hey, she goes potty outside, and that's why she can live at my house..

LOL . How long did it take for your dog to learn that? It took my dog several months to learn that.
She had been trained already when we acquired her from the pound..thank GOD..
