Anybody have any of these nasty little buggers? None for me, not even an ear. Where I come from, there had better be a pirate ship out in the driveway if a guy has an earring..
I have seen just about everything, but please, entertain us with your experiences with piercings..

BTW, I have always wondered what the deal is with eyebrow piercing?? I.e...why? does it mean something?

I've only got my ears pierced, but I very rarely wear earrings. I really can't even remember the last time I did. I went through a phase where I wanted to pierce my tongue and eyebrow, but the parents never let me. I'm a pretty simple man though, just the ears pierced and no tattoos.

Same here. I took mine out two years ago when I had the interview for my current job.

I have a two in my left ear, and my wife won't let me get my right ear done.

Anyway, its a gold hoop and a diamond stud. My wife figured that if I was going to have them, I should have really nice jewlery, so she bought these for me.


I originally did it not for rebellion, but just to see what it would look like. At the time, my parents were shocked. Now, I am the only sibling without a tattoo or 'alernative' piercing (i.e. eyebrow, tongue, belly button, etc). I broke new ground, but got surpassed.

I like the way it looks on me, so it stays.

I do not wear them to formal functions (interviews, weddings, funerals, church).

I have had my ear pierced for the better part of 11 years, and it is still pretty small and subtle, unlike some of these dude who have gigantic hoops hanging from or actually IN their ears.

I don't know, it was probably something I did because I was in a band? Anything to be more visual behind the drum kit? I don't recall my original thought, other than if I didn't like it, it was no big deal to let it grow back in. Its not like ear piercing is expensive.

Yeah, that's what I was referring to...the hoop IN teh ear......the size of dimes or nickels....that's just strange.
